Farewell from the Greenhouse

After more than three and a half years on this blog, we have been feeling it's time for a change. As the children get older, it feels more and more strange to be blogging about them. If they want to blog what they're up to then they both have blogs of their own.

We have decided to set up a new blog for airing opinions and it is likely that this will have a home ed slant. So, do join us at Reflections in the Greenhouse.

Thanks to all for reading over the years!

I have really enjoyed your blog, thanks so much for the insight into home ed as it really helped me make my decision to home ed ourselves a couple of years ago. Glad you're not giving up blogging altogether, looking forward to reading your reflections!

Ah, Greenhouse by the Sea, we have loved you well!

Soooo pleased and relieved that it's not the end of blogging from the Greenhouse and that another little Greenhouse seedling has sprung up already. :-)

Will miss the old one, but look forward to reading the new.

goodness i got all worried there for a sec, glad to see you are just moving house and not leaving us. greenhouse was a huge help to me in our early days of home ed, you're tales of autonomy inspired me to throw away the much hated workbooks.

I know what you mean. I rarely blog these days, which is odd, given it was such a source of support at one time. But I feel Hannah's business is her own, these days, and just let her get on with it.

just wanted to add my thanks to the mix. I havn't been reading long, but it has made me feel less panacked and lonely in the venture we've just started knowing you're only just up the coast living rich fullfilled automonously schooled lives!

Glad you're going to be keeping up blogging with a home ed slant!

Yours was one of the blogs I found when I started to seriously think about home ed and I've loved reading it!

Feel slightly guilty about never commenting now!!

Thankyou and goodbye for now. I hope you'll still do a bit of blogging now and then though. It's been an absolute pleasure reading Green House by the Sea.
